Video of Lauren Dunford's session at World Economic Forum Annual Meeting now available

Lauren Dunford was honored to represent Guidewheel by speaking at four sessions at this year’s World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. She spoke on topics ranging from how disruptive technologies like the metaverse and AI have the potential to transform manufacturing and supply chain ecosystems, to cutting-edge practices for reducing Scope 3 emissions.

A video of her session on “How digital technology can power net zero” is now available. In this discussion, moderated by Emma Cox, Global Climate Leader at PwC, Lauren explores this topic with Neil Murray, Global CEO of Work Dynamics at JLL, Denelle Dixon, CEO/Executive Director at Stellar Development Foundation, and Scott Likens, Innovation Hub/Trust Technology Leader at PwC. A few takeaways:

  • Sustainability shouldn’t be a separate initiative. We must find and prioritize initiatives that drive both productivity and Net Zero.

  • We can’t improve sustainability without data. Only when we understand our energy usage can we build a strategy to reduce it.

  • There are many opportunities for AI to positively impact climate change - technology and industry need to work together to unlock them.
